Photography Insurance.ca is a division of Holman Insurance Brokers Ltd. established in 1981. Our insurance program is uniquely designed for Professional Photographers and Videographers who are based in Canada. Policies can be customized to suit your specific needs. Annual Camera equipment package policies start at $1,050.00 a year including commercial general liability.

What is covered:

  Note on Equipment to be insured: Remember it is not just the camera body and lens, but filters, tripods, lighting, bags and all manner of other accessories that you will want to be covered by your insurance, so make sure everything you need covered is listed.

We require a specific list of the items that you wish to insure along with the serial number, purchase price and date of purchase.

Our policy offers:

• Rental coverage cover following a claim 
• All equipment covered including computers and studio

We know that many professional photographers will go to great extremes to achieve that one spectacular image and, whilst the camera is the photographers best friend, we come a very close second with our specialist cover that will support any loss or damage caused in pursuit of that perfect result.

* All applications subject to acceptance by the Underwriter. Typical exclusions are water borne activities, airborne activities and stunts. These can be covered however additional charge applies and will be considered on a case by case basis.
